Some were straight and abhorrent whilst others were rugged and disorganised, cluttered like etched shapes upon a bumpy rock. These were the lines of his youth, each told a story of something from his past and if you followed it from end to end you might just weave far enough to find yourself back at the start. Out here in the middle of the rocky outback there were lines and stories to be found everywhere. You simply had to read between them all and follow suit.
Sketchy Lines is a newly launched project based in Brussels, described as a multi gender project the imprint is focussed on graphic design, experimental music and collaboration. The first release comes from label founder Salah, an intriguing record which shows signs of promise for the future of the label.
