After self-releasing two EPS, 'Violet' and 'Submerged', Bristol stalwart Om Unit returns with a full length album 'Acid Dub Studies' which builds on his personal, creative journey motivated by curiosity and a frustration with the rigidity of the musical world he was previously existing within. Through the use of 303 acid basslines, dub reggae influences and elements from the hazier end of dub techno and ambient, Om Unit crafts a release that seeks to part ways with categorisation and expectation, working within an honest and organic framework.
