Premiere: Modified Man – Kingswood Drive

Leaning against the frame of the hatch in the side of the plane, feeling the wind whipping against his face, he suddenly felt the knots in his stomach untangle themselves. That writhing anxiety was suddenly replaced by an overwhelming urge to jump; which, on receiving the signal, he did so gladly. Closing his eyes through freefall, he opened them again to be confronted by a beautiful canvas laid out far beneath him, covered in splashes of green and blue.

Kingswood Drive is the new release from synth-production duo Modified Man, and it's out next week on their own label Albert's Favourites. It's an early teaser of their next EP, due out in April. We're premiering the title track which is a gorgeous, celestial analogue jam. The beats are as broken as they are soulful, but the whole thing is underpinned by this serene sort of energy.
