The noise rattled as the car raced down the stretch of concrete. On either side of the river a small crowd of locals had gathered to drink beer and watch on with intent. This was the LA River and it was no place to be caught on the wrong side of the party. Each car blasted an abrupt hood track, a representation of where each driver was from and a statement of fierce authority. The sun died in the distance and the headlights began to flicker abruptly. The race was on.
Dukwa is set to release a new EP on his own newly formed label. The producer has previously released music on Glasgow label Numbers and Bosconi Records. The new EP has been widely championed by dj's thus far. Listen below:
