Premiere: Callosum & Wild Kid – Back

Having first launched into orbit back in 2016, Nostro Hood System has since become an exciting outpost for new strains of contemporary club music. This Friday they've got a v/a release out called Waystation Compilation: Sequence I, which features new music from the likes of Noire, Lemonick, Mistareez and label boss Galtier.

We're premiering an ace collaboration between two US producers. Callosum hosts the East Coast Trax show on Transit FM, and released the Tenaya EP on NHS back in November. Brooklyn's Wild Kid also had a release out last year – the Cathedral EP on his own 48k imprint. The two of them have come together for 'Back', which is a wild electro/grime hybrid built around fractured drums and a deep, glowing bassline. It keeps threatening to erupt but ultimately manages to keep things at a brooding simmer. Listen below:
