8 Tracks: Of Freak – EGYPTIAN LOVER

We could all do with unleashing the freak within more often. However, one man who has absolutely no issues with his inner freakiness is the Californian maestro Egyptian Lover. For decades he has been bringing raucous, groove approved jams of the freakiest nature to dance-floors the whole world over. Inspired by a prominent dance move in the Los Angeles club culture scene in the 80's, Egyptian Lover crafted a sound which accompanied pelvic gyrations far and wide. Some thirty odd years later he still travels the world blending electro jams with hip hop, disco and everything in between.
R$N caught up with the man himself to discuss eight tracks which have paved his journey so far.

When this song came out I fell in love straight away with it. It said what was on my mind. Then people started to think I made the song. So I remade it. This is Freaky.
