8 Tracks: Of Antenna’s “Things That Don’t Exist, But It Would Be Great If They Did”

Music

Based in Rotterdam, Antenna remains a rather mysterious project. Over the past four years Antenna has released music for the likes of Royal Oak, Pinkman and Chronocircle. However, most recently Antenna released an EP on Beats In Space which has been receiving traction and plays from DJ's far and wide. Antenna manages to remain largely under the radar, preferring to remain low-key and mysterious. So much so that even this 8 tracks contribution is confusing and contradictory… Antenna takes us through eight tracks of "things that don't exist, but it would be great if they did" below…

Pw:Aa Ost: 05 - Logic And Trick

Very mysterious soundtrack for a Nintendo DS game, Phoenix Wright. I wish there would be a proper extended version of it.

  • Pw:Aa Ost: 05 - Logic And Trick

Very mysterious soundtrack for a Nintendo DS game, Phoenix Wright. I wish there would be a proper extended version of it.

  • The X Files: Gender Bender

The opening scene of this X-Files episode takes place in a club. Everything about that scene is perfect: very cool music by Miike Snow, the go-go dancers in cages, industrial vibes in the club etc.. I hope there is a club like this somewhere.

  • The Mind's Eye - 07 Love Found (Short Circutz)

Heartbreaking 3D animation about the impossible love between two creatures that are too different to be together. Intense stuff!

  • Felix Da Housecat - Free Love

Felix Da Housecat is talking about his vision of ultimate sexual experience. This track represents the darker side of love, the longing, desire and pain of rejection.

  • Hell Interface (Boards Of Canada)

Highly saturated Boards of Canada bootleg of Whitney Houston’s track which came out to be fake. It raises even more questions, like who made it and why they wanted us to believe it was a BOC track.

  • 3 Track Surplus

Three fantastic unfinished and unreleased tracks from Lnrd Croy, that don’t exist anywhere except YouTube.

  • Awesome Train Cab Ride View Journey In Austria

Two hour ride through one of the most perfect places on earth. The scenery feels like an almost forgotten dream. VHS footage and 90s attributes make this video even more fantastic.

  • Antenna - Nokia

New Antenna / Mark Du Mosch split EP recorded during a vacation on a fantasy Island of Baltermore and transmitted through the hypermodern ADSL connection from the island to the mainland.
