Having previously appeared on I Love Acid and X0X Records, Finnish producer Type-303 lands on Timothy Clerkin's Insult To Injury imprint this Friday with The New Ravelution EP! It's home to four ballistic hardcore workouts that hark back to the glory days of warehouse gatherings, and we can't wait for you to hear it in full.

To celebrate the EP release, Type-303 has put together this thunderous playlist of modern-day acid classics for us. From Posthuman to Ben Pest, get stuck in below…

The New Ravelution is out 26th October via Insult To Injury, pre-order it here.

Ben Pest - Werd Clock

It’s all funky, wonky, groovy baby. A great way to start the list off.

  • Ben Pest - Werd Clock

It’s all funky, wonky, groovy baby. A great way to start the list off.

  • Posthuman - Try Again

Posthuman have made a name for themselves lately and with good reason. This tune is an excellent example of their great work in the acid scene. Every time I hear this track I just get hypnotised by the sounds.

  • Matt Whitehead - A Is For Acid

“A Is For Acid” and also for Awesome Acid track.

  • Trio 3 - Fuck Chicago

I thought “Fuck Chicago” was something that you really couldn’t say. Well, Trio 3 just did!

  • Andrew Soul - Don't Stop (Original Mix)

Such a soulful tune with a nice 303 line flying in the background.

  • Boneless One - Spaz (808 Mix)

This track is an absolute killer with a hammer-smashing 808 kick combined with a beautiful 303 line.

  • A-Eno-Acid - Acid Sodastream

This is just such a wacky song. Gotta love it!

  • K.Larm & J.Raninen - Kokki 303

No, wait, what? It’s an acid cover of Roger Whittaker’s ‘Finnish Whistler’. The original version of the song was also used in a legendary Finnish cooking show called Patakakkonen.
