Xoyo Announce Busy P As Final Resident Of 2015

Busy P begins his XOYO residency on Saturday 3rd October. His '20 years of Party' promises a "return to original club culture", and features a long list of huge names from across a broad spectrum of time and genres… mostly connected by the sassy, booty-shaking dance music which was abundant through most of the last decade to the beginning of this one.

French pillars of disco-house like Sebastian, Justice, Breakbot, Joakim and Riton aren't particularly surprising but are important names in the Ed Banger universe and would be uncomfortably left out. Curveballs come in the forms of Ghost Culture, Rustie and Trevor Jackson but, taking a moment, the electro/punk-funk connections are actually pretty obvious.

Apparently he's the first Frenchman to take on a residency in the UK since Laurent Garnier at the Hacienda, but personally I think that sounds a bit dubious.
