Scuba Announces Phenix 2 On Hotflush

Scuba continues his Phenix series with a second installment. Paying absolutely no heed to summer, the producer has jettisoned all of the happy vibes of Phenix 1 – so out go the vocal stabs, piano chords and uplifting melodies, and in comes the dense, acidic basement techno.

Hotflush have posted a teaser of the EP – listen below. 'Choke' is the one doing it for us at the moment, but it's all quality, moody gear. The release date is set for June 30th – before then you can catch Scuba play his only  liveshow of 2014 with Kowton and Tom Demac @the Village Underground in London, June 20.
