A curious beast, this remix kicks off with Robyns by the numbers anthemic pop vocals, before tumbling into an 8 bit abyss of bitch slap beats and groaning bass. This is firmly allied with the pop/ dubstep hybrid thats sweeping the nation, but genuinely innovative in its rhythmic ticks and video game flourishes. At the conclusion of its 5 odd minutes I felt exhausted but strangely happy, as though Id been pushed through the tunnel from the film Labyrinth, you know, the one full of the hands that form faces, give you grief, and generally shove you all round the houses. Like that.
