Palmbomen Releases Final Instalment In Video Series

Palmbomen (aka Kai Hugo) has released the fouth and final instalment in his weird and wonderful video series created to tie in with the release of his album Palmbomen II.
The video, entitled 'John Lee Roche', is a collaboration with animator Thomas de Rijk which blends the style of the previous three instalments with 3D animation. Kai explains how the idea for the video developed:
I wrote this script where the main character makes and presents a 3D video. The character within the character’s video is based on a photo I found of a Russian politician posed in a tree for a serious photoshoot. He looked out of touch with nature, but still wanted to somehow convey “a connection” with it.
