Leif to release album on Whities

The announcement comes fresh off the back of the debut LP to appear on the label from Rupert Clervaux which was revealed earlier this year. Leif is a producer who has released music prominently for well over a decade having previously contributed albums to the catalogues of Fear Of Flying and UntilMyHeartStops. He has also released an eclectic array of EP's spanning the breadth of ambient and electronic music on the likes of Idle Hands, Tio Series, Ornate Music and Sudden Drop. This will be the first time that he has appeared on the Whities imprint.
The record label, run by Nic Tasker, has moved from strength to strength in recent years having released music by the likes of Avalon Emerson, Nathan Micay, Lanark Artefax and more. The new album from Leif is titled "Loom Dream". The record is described as follows:
"Made up of six tracks but presented as two ~17-minute pieces, the record meanders through warm chordscapes, glistening synths and loose live percussion, weaved together with field recordings and ambience. Loom Dream invites us to peacefully reconnect with the living world by placing us amongst lush sonic verdure."
An interactive teaser for the release, designed by Joseph Pleass and Alex McCullough, can be seen here.
The release will be available from the 14th of June.
