kirkis up next on eglo

The next release on Eglo will come from Australian musician/painter/maverik Kirkis – with a 7″ due out featuring the tracks Worm Jelly and Oh Serene Zoltar ahead of a full LP – titled ‘Liverbleach’ later down the line.

It’s the first time Eglo have ventured so far away from home to release an artist but Kirkis’ music seems to warrant it – he’s a consumate musician in these days when everyone’s a ‘producer’. 

The man’s got jazz chops to burn and the music we’ve heard so far of his could best be described as ‘unhinged fusion’. Make of that what you will.
