Dekmantel Announce New Croatian Festival ‘Selectors’

Dekmantel are slowly making their way towards European festival dominance as they sail into the Adriatic for the newly announced 'Selectors' festival next September.

The inaugural Croatian outing is intended as celebration of the art of DJing, with the lineup reflecting the desire to display the talents of some of the world's most respected DJs – including Hunee, Helena Hauff, Young Marco and Motor City Drum Ensemble.

Dekmantel founder Thomas Martojo explains how “we immediately fell in love with the intimate, beautiful site [The Garden, Tsino] and think it’s the perfect place to translate our favourite stage from Dekmantel Festival and really take the time to deepen the idea behind it… you can expect long sets from some of our favorite DJ’s combined with the usual Dekmantel touch on sound, production and atmosphere”.

The 'Selectors' project also goes beyond the festival, with a compilation series starting March 2016. Motor City Drum Ensemble, Young Marco, and Joy Orbison step up for the first three editions of the compilation series which will consist of hand-picked, unmixed tracks curated by the featured artist.
