Billie Ray Martin and Hard Ton

So a month or so ago I was getting all excited about the Severino/ Billie Ray Martin collabo (which has gone and blown UP…) and here we are again with another dancefloor killer from one of the best voices in dance. Fantasy Girl is part of a double a side alongside Sold Life, and though it may have got second billing on the release, its definitely this covers of Pierre’s Phantasy Club that works for me- fast an hard jack beats drop into an acid line so sick its died and ascended to house heaven. Billie Rays performance is spot on as ever with a vocal that is, as all good house vocals should be, equal parts yearning to euphoria. Snuff Crew step up with a tough Chicago piano mix and its slaps on the back, pumping handshakes and kisses on the cheek all round. Great stuff.
