What can I say about this force of nature?

A voice from the angels, a sense of humour from the devil and one of the biggest hearts to boot.

What a woman. What more could you possibly need?

I'm beyond chuffed that she's taken time to make a playlist for About This Place and answer a few questions.

When were you at your happiest?

I was at my happiest pre-mobile phone and pre-internet, when I went out and got sweaty dancing to other people's music. I'm at my most content when I'm in the Lake District with my beloved partner.

What’s your greatest fear?

Should I go deep or not? No? …Shitting myself on stage? That's definitely something.

Who do you admire?

David Attenborough

What trait do you deplore in yourself/other people?

In myself, moodiness. In other people, eating loudly :-/

What’s your worst habit?

Ripping bits off a loaf of bread rather than cutting.

Favourite word?

FUCK

Who would you like to say sorry to?

Jimmy. My partner. Every day. For being so bleeding moody.

Who do you despise?

I despise anybody who doesn't believe in equality. Currently I'm not a great fan of this FUCKING GOVERNMENT.

Who or what is the love of your life?

Jimmy.

What would improve your life?

Being able to play the piano.

Worst job you have ever done?

I had a data inputting job just off Canal Street in Manchester. It was mind-numbingly boring. The only saving grace was that I got to work alongside a Frank Sinatra lookalike/soundalike who was actually a contestant on Stars in Their Eyes.

What’s your greatest achievement?

Pursuing this career in music through the highs and the lows… I did play netball for England in my younger days too.

What keeps you awake at night?

There's a long list, mainly connected to my own personal guilt about EVERYTHING I've ever done slightly wrong, and also currently the lack of harmony and destruction in the world. I'm bamboozled by what's going on and how people have become so selfish. But then it's easy for me to say that as my life is ok right now. If I were struggling on the poverty line would I be looking for someone else to blame? Education is the only saviour and even that is being controlled by purse strings.

How would you like to be remembered?

For being a good listener.

What lessons has life taught you?

Don't be greedy! LISTEN…Love…Learn.

What would your superpower be?

Being able to snap my fingers and the house be dead tidy.

Top tip?

To achieve the perfect soft dippable chucky egg, slowly introduce a large egg to boiling water and leave for five minutes. Crack open… VOILA!

Absolutely not!

Crazy P are currently in the studio finishing our eighth album. Looking forward to our next run of gigs in Barcelona, Portugal, Blackburn, Carlisle, Hare and Hounds in Birmingham and Brixton with PBR Streetgang. Main priority is finishing the album now. I'm moving house.
