Influences: Tin Man
Who loves acid more than us? Tin Man does.
Johannes Auvinnen has long been a favourite producer of ours, his ability to manipulate and warp a sense of elegance from machinery and hardware is truly unique. He captures emotion and presents it alongside wizardry and percussion. It's all very good indeed. He has previously released on the likes of ACID TEST, Volvox's Jack Dept, Berlin's Killekill and 030303. However, now he is back to return to his own label as he has invited a wide array of friends to collaborate and remix his own acid tinged work. Titled 'Acid Friend' the album features twenty nine respective tracks and each carries a sense of individuality and character.
We invited Tin Man to cite influences and he does so in good taste whilst reflecting on personal inspiration.

YMO and early Sakamoto works inspired me with there melodic electronic sounds. I like the edgier use of synths, samplers, and effects for a sound design that very cohesive musically but had a disconcerting edge.
