There's very little information about Manchester-based newcomers Pearl City online. We do, however, know the following for a fact: the duo peddle a visual aesthetic more Lynchian than the work of David Lynch himself, and last year's self-released debut single 'Flames' was quite the introduction. Boasting a production style that occupies a space we didn't know existed between David Longstreth and Ransom Note favourite Tess Roby, an uncommonly captivating vocal hook serves as the cherry atop this unusual cake.
Below, they retrace the steps they took on the route to their singular sound.
Pearl City play Hackney's Paper Dress Vintage on Saturday the 2nd of June: RSVP HERE.
