Jamie Woon

Music

With his recent exposure on the BBC's Sound of 2011 poll, his friendship with Ramadanman, Burial and the Radio 1 playlisting this year looks set to see Woon blow. This remix should help his credibility in underground circles – Hudson delivers an epic wall of woozing synths and brickbat crunked up percussion to push Woon's fragile blue eyed vocals into a strange and intriguing new place.

This blend of curiously disorientated sci-fi RnB can be seen swelling up from producers such as Two Inch Punch, James Blake and Girl Unit at the moment, and this is another powerful work to add to a movement that looks set to dominate the musical landscape for the rest of 2011.
