8 Tracks: Of Sublime Cover Versions With Ray Mang
Raj Gupta, A.K.A. Ray Mang, has been a key figure in the UK house and disco scene since the mid 90s. His career in the studio began back in '96 and since then he's produced some of the most crucial and sought after gems on a plethora of labels, including his own Mangled. It's rare these days to find an artist who is equally at home behind the decks as they are in the studio but Mang is also a consummate selector, touring the globe regularly. He's set to appear at the first birthday bash of the excellent Dabble party on Saturday 20th August and so we managed to catch up with him amongst his busy touring schedule and get him to pick 8 of his favourite cover versions.
The Dabble 1st Birthday takes place at the Whirled Cinema railway arch in Loughborough Junction on Saturday 20th August.
