This Friday, the one and only Lauer returns with his third solo LP Power, the follow-up to 2015's still-excellent Borndom. It's coming out on Running Back, the label run by his Tuff City Kids partner Gerd Janson.
The prolific German producer is a bonafide R$N favourite, and we're happy to report that the new album is easily one of his best offerings to date, full of bubbling bass, sparkling synth hooks and indelible melodies.
For his 8 Tracks playlist, Lauer has chosen the theme "Balearic Hatemail" (no idea, we're just as confused as you). From Soviet synth pop to blissed-out trance bangers, get stuck in below...
Power is out 16th November via Running Back, pre-order it here.
Zeus B. Held / Anselm Spring - Sechs Lange Stunden
I'm a big fan of Zeus B. Held - super elegant productions without sounding slick at all. This is quite a weird one.
