OG grime pioneer Riko Dan aka the "London City Warlord" is responsible for one of 2018's best releases. Unleashed on Tectonic earlier this year and marking the label's 100th release, the Hard Food EP features production from the likes of Mumdance, Joker and label boss Pinch, and was hailed by Mixmag as "soundsystem grime at its very best".
Now, Riko Dan is bringing it to life at The Old Blue Last this Sunday 12th August, heading up what is quite frankly a ridiculously strong line-up. He'll be jumping on a Pinch b2b Mumdance set, and if that doesn't get you excited then I've no idea why you clicked on this article.
Riko's old crew Roll Deep will be represented on the night by Manga, Breeze, Scratchy, Brazen and DJ Karnage, as well as Flowdan who'll be performing with Jamakabi and Logan Sama.
Also on the bill are (deep breath) Marcus Nasty, Mic Man Frost, Trends, Boylan, Capo Lee, Fuda, Tiatsim, Jammz and Discarda (aaaaaand exhale).
