The Sheffield multi disciplinary arts and music festival has announced new names for the forthcoming event on the weekend of the 15th of October.
No Bounds Festival will take place across spaces in the city and will feature performances and dj sets from the likes of Kode 9, Ben UFO, Gabber Modus Operandi, Joy O, Loraine James, Nyege Nyege, Helena Hauff and many more. New names announced this week for the already packed event include RP Boo, The Black Dog, Lorenzo Senni, Space Afrika, Rian Treanor + Leila Ziu, Denham Audio and more.
The festival has also announced a special performance/ installation from Mark Fell featuring the Maltby Miners’ Welfare Band. In keeping with Fell’s recent works, this piece evolves over a palindromic time structure, with overlapping and intersecting patterns drawn from the region’s many bus routes - developed with the help of Fell’s long-term collaborator, Italian composer Sandro Mussida. The players will be distributed around the bus station and for a duration of 3-hours guests are welcome to explore the space.
