Love Child host Pride celebration featuring 17 hours of music and panel discussions

Art & Culture

To celebrate Pride this year, London-based party and label Love Child have put together a marathon 17 hour celebration of music and panel discussions, taking place on 27th June.

Streamed live via Zoom and Mixcloud, Love Child – which is helmed by Josh Caffe and Jacob Husley – have brought together queer DJ collectives and artists from London, Berlin, Netherlands, Hungary, Portugal, USA and Spain to raise money for underground artists and UK Black Pride.

There will be live streamed sets from the likes of BBZ, Cocktail d’Amore residents Budino and Juan Ramos, Dexter Lx of Lux Frágil, Magical Real boss Jaye Ward and many more, while discussions and talks will focus on Black LGBTQIA+ writers and reflections and experiences on being an artist in lockdown.

Tickets for the live stream sets and talks will be on a donation basis with the profits going to artists and UK Black Pride respectively. To coincide with the stream, Love Child have teamed up with Ben Rix to create a bespoke Pride T-Shirt with all profits going to the UK QTIBIPOC Emergency relief & Hardship Fund. Buy yours HERE.
