London Mayor Sadiq Khan has agreed to meet with Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, to discuss the closure of Fabric – and the future of London nightlife as a whole.

Revealing the news on Twitter, Hebden told his followers that the Mayor had invited him to City Hall to share his views on the situation. Hebden has been a vocal critic of London's clubbing landscape over the past few years, particularly since the closure of Plastic People in early 2015.

Sadiq Khan has stressed the importance of London's nighttime economy, and has recently advertised the position of a 'Night Czar' to 'shape London's future as a 24-hour city'.
