Apple Submits Patent For New Paper Bag

Apple – a firm part of the global design vanguard – are trying to patent a paper bag.

Until now, purchasing any item from an Apple Store probably involved an alternative vessle or underarm carry. In a similar vein to the iPhone, iPad and iPod, this new bag is said to be "structurally suitable" and tipped to revolutionise the consumer market.

Confusingly however, Apple has said that it hopes the bag is "as green as possible", while the design submitted actually appears to be white. Other reports have suggested that Apple haven't yet gone into enough detail about how the new product will be used – while experts fear that the bag could become a safety concern for customers not fully briefed on its uses.

In a formal statement on the product, Apple clarified its position by explaining that "bags are often used for containing items. For example, retail bags may be used to contain items purchased at a retail store."
