‘Love And Rope’ A One Day Exhibition By Paul Oughton

Art & Culture

What are you doing this Saturday? Is it anything as wonderful as filling your senses with a gallery full of tasteful (depending on your definition of the word) nudes? No, I thought not.

Paul Oughton brings his 'Love And Rope' collection to The Hundred Years Gallery for one day only and it's certainly the place to be if you fancy yourself as a forward-thinking, horizon-broadening type.

In case all this isn't quite enough eroticism for you, during the show dominatrix (yes that's the plural, had to check that one by shouting it out in Ransom Note Towers) Miss Deviant and Madame Caramel will be giving demonstrations in the ‘Deviant Corner’. This is a unique opportunity to watch a Professional Mistress at play and ask questions – one you're probably rather unlikely to have again.

This incredible exhibition is made so much more worthwhile as the artist has described the subject matter as being “more interesting than painting water lilies and canals! ”.

Though none of the paintings on show are particularly explicit in their content, they do indeed stir the imagination of the viewer which will undoubtedly engage them in their own, intriguing narrative.

If you can get down to this exhibition on Saturday, make sure you're there to experience this once in a lifetime event – I promise that you won't be disappointed in the slightest.

(Also, if any of my family read this – I have never come across the words 'bondage' and 'BDSM' before and have absolutely no idea what they mean…)

'Love And Rope' is on show at the Hundred Years Gallery on Saturday 14th June, for more information see the official gallery website.
