Art & Culture

The fun loving midsummer festival has announced several new areas for the very first time as it prepares to invite an all star cast to the Oxfordshire countryside amidst the grounds of Cornbury Park.

Names announced for the festival this summer include Robyn, Groove Armada and more. However, this year the festival has placed a particular focus on increasing the presence of dance and electronic music at the festival with the likes of Kim Ann Foxman, Eats Everything, Hannah Holland and more all announced so far. Other names on the programme include Ata Kak, On The Corner Records, Voigtmann and John Gomez.

Ransom Note will also be in hand to host a stage and we will be joined by Ruf Dug, Ally Tropical and Matt Cowell.

The new areas announced also includes a late night, after hours dance space named The High Ground and is described as follows:

"The High Ground is the brand new after-dark dance space dedicated to cutting-edge electronic music and the art of the DJ. The Valley now has a little sister.  Musically, The High Ground vibe is uplifting; with DJs playing disco and house sets backdropped with flamboyant performers. The harder-edged sets find their home in The Valley beneath the lasers."
