July already! Weve still got our Christmas cards up from last year hey, weve been busy OK.

Thursday is the first in a series of new monthly music events brought to you by Four Roses bourbon. Each month well be inviting some of our favourite DJs down to play their finest records whilst we all enjoy bespoke Four Roses cocktails made with loving care by our team of trained experts!. Pretty simple really. This month Mr Boogie brings his Melting Pot to The Star for a vinyl only selection of spicy Latin licks, jazzy, funky and soulful grooves, deep disco and tropical house. Its free to come in so there can be no excuse!

Friday night, The Pushamann brings with him special guest The Off Key Hat for some mythical music treats straight outta Shoreditch. Check The Pushamanns latest mix here: (Where does he find the time to do all these mixes?)

Saturday, its back. DICK AND FANNY, the quarterly club night for homosexuals of all persuasions, returns for its red hot summer outing with DJs KIM ANH (BOOBY TRAP/LA), WARBOY (CALIGULA), PHILIPPOS N (FRESHIT RECORDINGS) and MAYA JANE COLES playing classic house and techno, italo, hi nrg and disco for a mixed crowd of dykes, fags, trannies and their admirers. DAF is a place for all gays to mix with a high dosage of fun, dancing, amazing music and no attitude. Early arrival recommended. We go til 3am.

Sunday, its the final of the World Cup. We cant believe its over. Its been such an emotional time we dont want it to end. But alas, it has to come to pass. Join us at 7:30 to see Holland/Uruguay/Germany/Spain become World Champions.

5 Lunches Monday to Friday? You read it right. Every weekday lunchtime we are offering main meals for the meagre sum of 5. Treat yourself and your friend/bloke from the office to a pizza, steak, pie, burger, salad, anything at all really.

World Cup at The Star: The big tournament is nearly finished! We’ll be showing all the remaining games including the final this week. Watch it while you can otherwise it’s a 4 year wait!

We are open all day, everyday serving food from 11.30am. We have a constantly evolving menu with daily specials, lunch deals and fantastic coffee. Pop by! x
