In the three short years of its beat ridden life, Rhythmatic has made a colossal mark on the heart of the London dance scene. The graceful and international vibe that comes with an enchanting music policy has gained the party plaudits from its ever growing and always loyal fan base all over the globe.

Rhythmatic will be returning to Cargo on the May bank holiday for a rather special event, showcasing the new and fresh label Weplayminimal. We’ll be presenting two of the most talented DJs to emerge from the German scene in the last year, M.in and Denishu, as well as Stathis Lazarides and Wesley Razzy, who over the last few months have been pushing the boundaries at our nights.

Lets get intimate this May Bank Holiday at Cargo

M.in

Markus Ferdinand alias M.in is an artist developing his individual music taste by being open minded towards other genres. His interpretation of loop-oriented House / TechHouse is spiced up with Jazz, Soul and Afrobeat elements in order to present a varying and sophisticated mix to the audience. His passion for electronic music came at the tender age of eleven! As soon as his older brother left the house, M.in started to use his turntables to put on some Hardcore records. After experiencing other genres like BreakBeat and Jungle he finally has found his second home at the House / TechHouse scene, being motivated by the likes of DJ Tonka and Ian Pooley.

Den Ishu

Den Ishu from the heart of Germany’s Ruhr Valley has been producing since the beginning of 2009. With a whole bunch of influences from Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and House, plus a decade behind the decks, he was soon delivering an exciting mix of Old and New Skool house. His first production became an instant success, being immediately picked up and released by Loco Dice and his Label “Desolat in October 2009. The following EP “Uganda Express exploded like a bomb instantly finding support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Sven Vth, Carl Cox, Marco Carola, 2000 And One, Tiefschwarz and reached countless Top 10 sales and DJ charts. With “R.U.W.M. featuring on “All Inn Limited Records he reached #3 on Decks Top 100 charts and definitly created one of the sure shots for 2010. His second EP “Preacher Man released on Amsterdam?s “Area Remote pushed him once again into the Top. Den Ishu?s “Expand Your Mind EP on Gregor Treshers?s imprint “Break New Soil set him to be firmly established as one of the new and fresh artists to keep an eye on. Den Ishu could not have got off to a better start and it is set to be a big year for him.
