REGRESSION SESSIONS PART 3
REGRESSION SESSIONS PART 3
@ THE ISLINGTON METALWORKS
FRIDAY 8TH JUNE 2012
10PM – 6AM
SERIOUS MUSIC FOR SILLY PEOPLE
Short on Friday night plans for tomorrow and in the mood for something a little bit credible…. but with a healthy dose of eccentric silliness? Regression Sessions is landing on the labyrinth, arty confines of the Islington Metalworks tomorrow night with a bouncy castle, giant ball pit, piñatas, space hoppers, fake moustache reception, vintage porn set pieces, surrealist giant knitting live art and some of the deepest tunes going both current and classic.
Regression Sessions touts itself as a hybrid beast between credible music nights featuring the best of house, garage, drum & bass, disco and hip hop with a host of crazy, festival-esque entertainment in an insane 5 room venue. Costumes are encouraged but not essential, and it's an event that can be counted on to attract a gorgeous mix of up-for-it people having it quite large.
The Leeds heads amongst you might be excited to hear that Musiquarium disco supremos A Rave Called Sharon are hosting a room, and rising Mad House Records (Kerri Chandler's label) Issac Christopher will be on disc jockey duties, alongside some secret rising stars of bass music ready to roll out the freshest tunes alongside the dustiest, greatest classics.
