Far Out Recordings Announce June Dates For Sunday Sessions

Summer is almost here! Although you might not know it from the weather outside. No matter, here's a little news to brighten your day. Far Out Recordings have just announced a set of June dates for Sunday Sessions, their weekly party at Ronnie Scott's in Soho.
Over the last two months the label have hosted the likes of Patrick Forge, Charlie Bones and Ben Hauke, alongside the Far Out residents. Their June lineups are arguably the most exciting they've put together yet. Let's have a look at what's on offer!
Oh, what do we have here on June 5th? It's a Modern Soul & Disco Special, featuring the combined talents of veteran Low Life DJ Bill Brewster and Italian disco/boogie connoisseur Gino Grasso, one half of production duo D&G.
A week later it's all about one man – South London soul prince Andrew Ashong. Renowned as both a singer-songwriter and a producer, the Ghanian artist is perhaps best known for his 2013 Theo Parrish collab 'Flowers'. Having headlined the inaugural Sunday Sessions night back in April, he's back again for one of his typically unpredictable DJ sets.
Then on June 19th it's a takeover from our good mates at Stamp The Wax. We're promised "moody, jazzy, beatsy groove music" from Contours (check his recent Rhythm Section EP) and ascendant producer Hidden Spheres, along with ample support from the STW guys.
Closing things out at the end of the month are the 22a Records gang, the bright young stars of South London. Label founder Tenderlonious will be performing along with Jeen Bassa and Reginald Omas Mamode IV.
Far Out Sunday Sessions takes place every Sunday in June at Ronnie Scott's. Full details below:
