comedy slices #30
It is official. Spring as sprung! Coats, wooly jumpers and thermals can be thrown to the back of the closet for moths to feast on cos we are taking our sandal clad feet sun soaked faces down to some comedy!
One of the greatest things in Police Academy was sergeant Motor Mouth, so who wouldn’t want to see the man of 1000 special effect sounds live in action? With sell out Fringe Shows in 2011 and 2012 Michael Winslow returns to the Underbelly to amuse and awe us with incredible ability. Oh and he was also the voice ( or rather sound) of the evil Gremlin. One not to miss.
Knock2Bag
Big names are are the line up for Knock2Bag (per usual) including one of current personal favourite comedians – Sara Pascoe. I would leave it at that but fear most of you will need a bit more enticing beyond Pascoe… so the line up also includes BBC3 star Dan Clark, triple Perrier Award nominee Dan Antopolski, award winning Marcel Lucont, Brett Dominio and more. You should go because the line up is rammed full to the brim with some of the best comedians around. Did I mention Sara Pascoe will be there?
Doc Brown
There are few people who do not like Doc Brown (no judgement for those who don’t but you are social anomalies.) A rapper as well as a comedian, his love of rap and hip hop are evident throughout his sets. Mixing music and comedy with an edge of self-depreciation that make his sets irresistibly funny and engaging. This is a night is a sure thing.
