Deixa – Drumagick’s Sun ‘N’ Bass Remix

Music

I've got my samba shoes on again, handily borrowed from one of the smaller England players as they won't be needing them any more… With all the hallmarks of brazilliant music (sorry…) plus a pacy beat that could certainly outrun Luis Suarez, even at the height of his rabidness. Rabidity? He has rabies. Probably. Or not, I don't want to get sued…

The vocal floats so sweetly above the mix and is full of the carnival style that seems to flood through every Brazlian. They're a people that take their music very seriously – just check out David Luiz every time the national anthem comes on. Like a man possessed. You've got a lovely little brass riff to fall into which will worm its way back to the centre of your brain at any opportunity. The effects added for the remix help take it from the streets to the main stage and the humble beginnings of the track are soon forgotten once it reaches full momentum – unlike Sulley Muntari who has shown his charitable side this week in Brazil, what a gent. He learned that at Portsmouth you know.

It's a lot more intense than most carnival-esque songs but the remix will surely help bring the track to a new audience and the sheer audacity and confidence of Drumagick help make it an aural delight to behold. The perfect remix for any World Cup party, even Neymar himself would be happy to get up and show off his moves to this.

Football football football…
