Timothy ‘Heretic’ Clerkin Is Next Up On Ransom Note Records

Music

Following on from Smagghe & Cross' Talking To Katz EP, the next release on Ransom Note Records comes courtesy of Timothy 'Heretic' Clerkin. As one half of Eskimo Twins and also solo under his Heretic alias, Timothy has released on numerous labels including Relish, Days of Being Wild, NEIN and My Favourite Robot.

Serenade is his brand spanking new world-destroying soup-guzzling tweed-wearing monster of an EP, set to crush everything in its path. Three absolute heaters from Timothy backed by a remix from Marlon Hoffstadt. There are breakbeats and acid lines and weird samples about drugs. It sounds like the '90s remade by people too young to remember the shit bits.

The record has been getting early support from the likes of Justin Robertson and Andrew Weatherall, who brought the roof down at Panoramabar the other week when he closed with 'Execute'.

Out 16th June on digital and in a limited edition of 300 12" copies, Serenade is now available for pre-order on our Bandcamp.
