Simple Things Unveil First Wave Of Acts For 2017 Edition

Simple Things has revealed the line up for the seventh edition of the festival, which will take place across three days from 20th to 22nd October.

Metronomy are set to open the festival with a special performance at Motion, with the main day taking place on Saturday where there'll be 16 hours of music throughout the city from a varied spectrum of artists ranging from dancehall to punk and pop to techno.

This year will see one third of the Detroit techno pioneers, the Belleville Three, Juan Atkins perform alongside Daphni, Willow, Bristol's own Shanti Celeste, Amsterdam's Dekmantel Soundsystem, The London Afrobeat Orchestra performing Talking Heads amongst many others yet to be announced.

The festival takes place across ten different stages throughout the city in establised and DIY venues. Previous years have seen performances from Red Axes, Tim Sweeney, Banoffee Pies and Throwing Shade.
