A figurehead of dance music across the decades.

Across twenty five years Phil Asher has left a dent in dance music history. A prolific producer and disc jocky he has honed and perfected his craft  as a producer as well as having remixed music for the likes Roy Ayers, Arnold Jarvis and more. Across his career he has produced over more than two hundred tracks and has been a major player within musical culture within London. 

Most recently he has released music on Rekids and BBE respectively. We invited him to contribute to our influences series as his selection and taste is imperative.

I love this record because it reminds me of Noel & Maurice Watson, UK Generals in the House scene, Noel would play this at Delirium, in the mix no-less, It reminds me of the early days of house music, I Love the delays and guitar work on this composition, as well as the Euphoric, classic keyboard line. Pure Love
