Techno is alive and well in the UK, at least according to JoeFarr. The formerly Bristol based producer (now Wales) has been flying the flag damn high for techno across Britain with his contribution to both local and international labels. With releases on the likes of Turbo, Power Vacuum Leisure System and Bloc he has become one of our leading connoisseurs in the harder fringes of dance music. This year saw him launch his own record label, User Experience. He calls the shots, picks the releases and sets the pace which he describes as follows...
"My experience of the music industry has been amazing in some respects and a bit strange and isolating in others, so I thought I'd take that isolation one step further and move to Wales, build a studio in a container with no windows and do everything myself, well, apart from the distribution and the artwork, I'm not that stupid".
We caught up with him as he cites eight heavy hitting cuts from the UK.

MYLER - STRANGER FEVER [ETG019]
Myler has this rare skill where he can turn Jungle into something futuristic whilst still acknowledging it’s roots. It’s so well executed and reminds me of old Photek but totally more bangin like.
