There is often a preconceived notion that producers of certain genres will not stray too far away from the sound in which they work. However, when it comes to the practicalities of life this is in fact simply untrue. So much so that this very edition of our 8 Tracks series deviated not only from our expectations but from the contributing artists himself.

A Sagittariun will be familiar to many, his resounding take on techno and electronics has made him one of the most interesting within the genre, his music highly praised and played.

We asked him to contribute to our series, his response was unexpected....

"I started to put together a selection of electronic techno music for this piece, but some solitary time with my iPod was gifting me some beautiful and mesmerising indie rock from the early 90s that I loved, so thought I'd change tact and share a small handful of classics with you.  I also dedicate this playlist to Vortichez who probably has no idea of my love for early 90s indie.."

A Sagittariun's new EP will be released on Elastic Dreams on the 20th of March. Follow him on Facebook HERE

LUSH | DE LUXE

Taken from their debut EP on the great 4AD label, every track is a winner. Melodic and swirling harmonic British pop music at its best. And I had a massive crush on Miki from the band, glorious.
