World Piano Day Returns On 29th Of March

The global edition will return for its third year upon the 88th calendar day in accordance with the number of keys featured on the instrument. The day will focus on the development of musical dimensions alongside the joy of playing. Nils Frahm describes the date as follows…

“Why does the world need a Piano Day? For many reasons. But mostly, because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener.”
