Justin Robertson Presents ‘It’s Alive’ At The Book Club

Art & Culture

The one and only Justin Robertson has a new exibition on the way! It's Alive runs April 26th – July 8th at The Book Club in Shoreditch.

This will be the legendary DJ/producer's third visual art exhibition, following on from the success of his previous collections The Explorers Chronicle and Everything is Turbulence.

Continuing Robertson's exploration of philosophical themes, It's Alive challenges the concept of the machine mind and our human desire for escapism through debatable notions of transcendence. It explores what it is to be human, what it is to be a conscious being and to what extent everything is ‘alive’.

The Book Club will also host some supporting events around the exhibition, including an event with Chris Bateman (author of The Virtuous Cyborg) on May 8th, and an evening with music writer Joe Muggs called 'Future Selves: How Is Technology Changing Who I Am?' in July.

It’s Alive is a FREE exhibition at The Book Club running from 26th April – 8th July 2018
