Jai And A.K. Paul Are Looking For A Design Intern

Art & Culture

The ever elusive Jai Paul and his brother A.K. Paul are looking for a design intern for their new music, art and technology collective The Paul Institute.

The internship was advertised via University of the Arts London’s ‘Creative Opportunities’ section. The Paul Institute, which was first revealed in March 2016 is described in the ad as “a global collective of art and technology enthusiasts committed to taking our members through new adventures in music.”

Duties involved as part of the internship include “visual research”, “creation of mood boards, rough sketches and concept imagery”, and “Assisting artists and photographers on photo and video shoots”.

A.K. Paul’s debut single ‘Landcruisin’ was released in coloration with The Paul Institute earlier this year, with the artwork being attributed to the collective. The ideas and design from the single is something they aim to “expand on”.

Jai Paul rose to mysterious prominence in 2010 with his single 'BTSTU' but has not released any new music since the 2014 leak of unfinished demos that were uploaded via a fake Bandcamp account.
